After that I copied one of the file names of the files that are in order to cell A1 and got the same results: the first character and the 2 zero's have the same code. I've tried using "My Computer" and "Windows Explorer" as the help file suggests, but surprise! that didn't work. windows explorer does not sort by name correctly
I was fooling around to see if I could sort folders when viewed with Windows Explorer --yes-- but they still did not appear sorted when opening a new instance of IE7. I can sort files using Sort By Name but Folders won't sort after creating a new Folder. Is there a way to configure IE7 to sort Folders?
